Nexus One The New Google Smartphone
On 5th of January Google launched its first official mobile phone – Nexus One, powered by Google’s Android Mobile Technology Platform 2.1 (Eclair) and manufactured by Taiwan-based HTC.
The smartphone is elegant with 3.7-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, it’s ultra-thin (just 11.5mm) and only weights 130 gms.
Nexus One is powered by the Snapdragon 1 GHz core processor, which enables to handle the Nexus One’s 3D graphics and aslo multiple applications simultaneously.
The phone has up to 7 hours talk time, 250 hours standby, 5 hours of 3G Internet use,
7 hours of video playback and 20 hours of audio playback.
It sells for $179 with a two-year contract from T-Mobile or you can buy it “unlocked” for $529.

The O2 plan included in the £900 starter package is the £35 plan which comes with 200 minutes and 200 SMS per month. If you plan on using your iPhone more, you can bump yourself up to 600 minutes and 500 SMS by paying a monthly fee of £45 instead of £35. For the really active users, there is the £55 per month plan which comes with 1200 minutes and 500 SMS. As you can see, the number of SMS is the same for the £45 and £55 iPhone plan.
